Ntsikitsana produces premium-quality rough diamonds from the kimberlite-rich geology of Mokhotlong — one of Africa's most promising diamond-bearing regions.
Lesotho is globally recognised for producing some of the world's finest gem-quality diamonds. Our Mokhotlong operations sit within a geologically unique zone where ancient kimberlite pipes have preserved diamonds of exceptional clarity and size.
Every diamond from Ntsikitsana Minerals is legally extracted, fully certified and traceable from ground to customer. We operate under the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, ensuring our stones are conflict-free and ethically sourced.
All our diamonds are certified conflict-free under the internationally recognised Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.
Mokhotlong's kimberlite yields both gem-quality and near-gem diamonds highly sought after by international buyers.
Mining at high altitude in the Lesotho Highlands demands world-class engineering and a resilient, skilled workforce.

Once a diamond operation yields ore, the diamonds must be sorted from the other materials. Excavated ore is transported to our processing plant in Mokhotlong.
The kimberlite is first crushed and then processed through a series of screens, jigs and scrubbers, and a Dense Media Separation (DMS) plant to remove lighter particles and create a concentrate of heavy material — which contains the diamonds.
Final sorting and quality grading is performed by skilled technicians before diamonds are packed and shipped under full regulatory compliance.
